Height adjustment is made easy with our low torque clutch, which can raise or lower the stand and lock it in place with only 1/2 turn. The rubberized boom angle adjustment knob and cam style adjustment clutch make precise placement of microphones a snap, with a metal reinforced tripod base designed for strength and stability. The 25" wide tripod footprint makes it a great stand for heavier, larger diaphragm mics, with stable functionality even at fully extended height, such as for drum overhead placement.
